go for a run (a proper run involving sprinting and sweating and feeling like you're going to die, not pansy slow jogging for an hour) then take an ice cold shower for 3 minutes, no hot water at all before, during or after

this will reset your brain. Repeat every 4-hours or as required.
Can't do cardio, or else I will lose my gains.

yeah pretty much, i was fucked up so badly that i couldnt think about much haha
Will try sometime. Probably a run to my local park then back.... will be probably a little over 2km

Nah thats too long. If you want to get rlly fked, try my death routine.
1. Find a soccer field.
2. Start from a corner
3. Sprint full pace down the length ( longer side) of the field
4. Jog slowly across the width of the field, passing by the goals.
5. Repeat until barely alive

yep, does amazing things for your fitness. just resist the urge to lie down straight afterwards, apparently it's bad.

Beep test is continuous jogging between two cones. This is many cones and switching between sprints and jogs.
I got 11 in Beep Test... 3rd out of a class of approx 30 back in Year 10

The guy who won our class beep test I think is going to State (or is it Nationals?) for 100m.

Beep test would usually favour long distance runners obviously, but clearly a state level sprinter would need to be fit enough to beat the rest of the class.

I miss the beep test :(
