Is this an effective way to study for hsc english exam? (1 Viewer)

I have constructed a generic essay (basically its quotes, techniques and an explanation of the two written in sentences) for all my modules and a creative. I can adapt the essay to any question really and I have received a pretty good mark for them for my trials but unfortunately the essays have not stuck in my memory so I was wondering if I should memorise 1 essay per day or should I divided the essay to be memories in 7 days? That way I am continually revises the essay? Idk I'm not great at trying to memorise stuff? Should I do the same for other subjects for example for biology, should I do like 5 syllabus points of each course each day? And the same with ancient history, like do a certain number of syllabus points a day? or try to revise the all elective in one day? :/ Please help, I need to memorise and understand a lot of shit before the exams start. I wish I started studying earlier -.-

Make an acrostic poem with your essay. ie, get the starting letter which starts each quote/idea/technique. write them out as soon as you start the exam, so you have them to refresh your memory.

Everyone is in the same situation, so don't stress. Yes, generic essays are the ideal way to prepare for English but I wouldn't memorise one essay a day. Write them, leave it for several days, read it and edit it with a fresh perspective and memorise it the week before the exam (so that you don't forget it while studying for other subjects).

Not setting it aside for a few days was my mistake coming into the trials. I ended up memorising some mistakes lol!
