Final ranks + trial marks - atar estimate? (1 Viewer)

School rank is 220's and i did the CSSA trials

Advanced english 43/70 (Trial mark 75/105 - only have such a low rank because of doing stupid shit in internal assesments, i can definitely pick it up in externals)
Economics 4/17 (Trial mark 88/100)
Chemistry 12/24 (Trial mark 62/100 - did better in other assessments though)
Mathematics 10/55 (Trial mark 76/100 - stuffed up trials hard)
3u maths - 20/36 (Trial mark 39/70)
SOR - 13/80 (Trial mark 38/50)

Aiming for an 85, careers advisor said im on 83-84

Your trial marks would say 88-90 atar. Ranks are not as good tho. If u perform like u did in the trials (assuming they didn't mark easy) then you should be able to get 85+

I'm not sure how other schools mark but mine was really strict to the criteria. I didn't think i performed well in the trials considering my overall ranks had dropped because of it, pretty sure i can do better in externals.

You can't estimate an ATAR with trial marks. Some people show me their 19/20 essays at a school which supposedly marks "harsh", yet the same essay would have difficulty attaining 14/20 at my school.

I'd say, 86 for OP.
