Can someone explain this to me? There are quite a lot of theories regarding how the internals are calculated.

Is this one correct: 2nd person at school gets 2nd highest external mark (exam)

or would it depend on the difference between 1st and 2nd and the moderation occurs from the difference?

Also are there any BOS websites/documents that specify how it actually works? (please post links : ) )

This is wrong.

This is correct, given a few other factors such as the mean of the school marks, the mean of the HSC exam marks, highest/lowest HSC exam marks.

Also are there any BOS websites/documents that specify how it actually works? (please post links : ) )
