ADVANCED ENGLISH 1st assessment=60%(weighting= 20%) 2nd= 63% (weighting= 20%) rank= around 74/82
BUSINESS STUDIES 1st= 90% (weighting= 20%) 2nd= 75% (weighting= 15%) rank= 1/41
ANCIENT HISTORY 1st= 88% (weighting=20%) 2nd= 84% (weighting= 10%) rank 8/48
LEGAL STUDIES 1st= 90% (weighting= 20%) 2nd= 83% (weighting= 20%) rank 4/26
MODERN HISTORY= 72% (weighting= 30%) 2nd= 84% (weighting= 10%) rank 6-7/17
My school rank is 85-90
I'm, aiming for an atar of 95.00, what would I have to pull up to achieve that, and am I still able to get band 6 in all my subjects besides English (I want band 5 for english)
By the way my english cohort is very strong, as is the top 8 of my ancient cohort and modern history cohort

At the moment, 88-89 (Rough Guess). Definetley need to improve your English rank into at least the top 1/2 of the cohort and possibly if you can in the top 3 ranks for Modern.

English is just wrecking you. And I mean, absolutely fucking you over.

It that was pulled up to like 10th you'd be sitting round 94ish

English is just absolutely detrimental to your ATAR.

But at the moment I'd say 84-87ish as an extremely rough guess. It's hard to say.

Not being mean but someone has to be honest with you. Just work real hard on that english is all I can say.

To be completely realistic I would think it would be very difficult only because of your English Rank. On the other hand its not impossible because you still have 60% weighting left so give it your all!

Your looking at around 83-85 currently. Pull that modern rank up, even if you have a "strong cohort" you'll definitely need one or two more ranks for a 95. English...well it's shit lets be clear about that. Pull it up to top 20(doesn't need to be top 10 seeing the size of it and you're relative mark) and you got urself a very good chance at 95.

Lets be frank, that English mark will pull your atar down immensely. I say 91 atar, pull that eng up, then you can look at 95.

I'm thinking same haha, English is screwing me too(not as much as you but similar bad situation), unless next two assessments go as planned I'm just gona uts, and try transfer or stay.

I'd say 90 right now, with better english you can easily boost it up to 93+

i like how u say for every subject you're not topping has a strong cohort, expect to see ur school rank <60 this year?
english mark im guessing is 76-78(internal), around half way should be 80-82, no matter how strong a rank 90~ english cohort is.. chances are average mark is 80-82 unless 70 people get band 6
atar estimate 86-88, half ur english rank then 93-94
