The only thing worse than death itself, is the fear of death (one of my friends favourite sayings - I owed him an homage). Now obviously the HSC is nowhere near as extreme as death, but the fear of it is way worse than the reality of it.

Agreed - I'm accelerated in 2 unit maths and at the end of last year, doing my first HSC assessment task - even though it was only 15% - was scary as heck, but after the test I realised it hadn't felt any different; it was just another test and the amount I (+ the rest of my maths class) had stressed was no way near worth it.

Just enjoy the present (as much as it's possible to!) and take everything as it comes =)
