Adv English - 33/54ish
Maths - Unsure.. Maybe 15ish/50ish
Chem - =2/11
Bio - =3/52
FoodTech - 3/10

See, there is just no way. I don't mind how long it takes me to get into med. It's the only thing I am interested in and the only thing I want to do :)
those ranks seem fine except maths and English.

And like you do food tech. Jesus. Lol

I wish! The marks I can get are just not possible for me to get high 90's and I need to be "realistic" as the careers advisor said :\ . There is an abundance of 'smarter' people then me in my cohort who will never move down the ranks therefore hard to attain a top 5 rank. Sucking at english doesn't help either xD
You don't need an ATAR in the high 90's for a realistic chance at Med.
If your GWS, you'll only need an ATAR of 93.55 for a shot at Med, if you hit around 96 then you'll open up doors for Newcastle/JMP as well.

I'd definitely advise you to maximise your chances at getting into Med, by aiming for undergraduate medicine first, trying hard to achieve a competitive ATAR and completing the UMAT this year.

I can definetley improve on maths but I don't know about English.. I just can't study for it or anything because I have so much hatred for it. Having a bad teacher doesn't help matters.

As for Food Tech sad thing is I do... It was a stupid mistake which my year advisor coaxed me into back in Yr 10. It was either that or Ancient and trust me there was no way I was doing that! I am enjoying it though as the class group is small and we have a really good teacher.

Unfortunately I'm not GWS and I doubt I can get a 96 (I'll try my best though). I wasn't thinking of doing the UMAT this year though but do you think I should do it anyway even if it's for the practice?

Ancient isn't completely fucking terrible though!

IMO aim for postgrad at best. You won't get into undergrad med. At least not in the first years of graduating HS.

Yeah, even if your ATAR doesn't work out, do the UMAT anyway for experience.
Once you start your first year of uni you'll be able to apply again to undergraduate medical schools using your GPA.

Yeah, That's a good idea. I will do it for the experience. Thanks a lot for the advice :)

Standard English: 60% (KILL ME) ~20/49

Modern History ??% - 6/10(Most likely 6th out of 10, however its a very smart class)
