well im not sure how to do a qn like this

(5x^2+3x^3-38x^2+6x)/(x^2+3x)

its because of the fact that if i do it with long didvision the power at the bottom will be higher than the top so im not sure about what to do in this case
please help!

Perhaps the first term should be 5x^4...the terms seem to be in order..

yep, op made typo must be ^4

Answer should be: (x^2 + 3x)(5x^2 - 12x - 2) + 12x..seems weird but think its right
