Bascially, so many of my mates have like 3 day timetable, and some of these days they dont even have to attend the whoel day, just 2 hours

For mine, its fkn 4 days, 3 full days and only 1 day with 2 hour contact time.

is it meant to be like that? or did i not do my timetable properly.

Yes, that's sounds right. I also had 4 days, with also 3 full days and a day with a few hours.

That's actually pretty good, depending on how many and which lectures you decide to go to (not that I recommend skipping lectures for everyone, but it's your choice).

Engineering always had a lot of hours. I know people (although not in engineering) who were doing essentially 8.30 to 5.30 every day.
