How'd you find it?

MC was alright, I hope. Last question on the short response fucked me over a bit.

I'm actually going to fail the course

Legit

I'm fucked
Literally literally?

At least I can console myself with the fact that I never have to do another biology subject again :3.

Also, I haven't slept since I sat that chemistry exam. I've probably drunk around a liter and a half of coffee since then too. This shit's amazing.

Yeah, I fucked that exam SO HARD
There wasn't a single question in short answer I could just bluff it was all specific shit you had to know AND I KNEW NONE OF IT!

If I'm still here I'm doing BIOL1901 next semester.
I really don't want to.
I'll probs transfer unis or courses or something.
I don't even know.
Ugh

I probs should've done that.
I slept from 2pm-11pm yesterday and ended up only getting through like half the MBLG course before the test. Ugh.
And some of the shit in that exam was not even anything what?! I had never seen that table shit before ever in my life, and some of the other questions were clear guesses. Ugh.

I'm currently eating maccas messily and sobbing on my bed.

Fuck everything.

I don't want to fucking do stats on Tuesday. :(

Yeah, I don't tolerate alcohol well but I'm just going to watch an episode or three of the walking dead and get slightly drunk for the first time in several months. Then it's CHNG and discrete math for the next four days.

BIOL1901? If that's concepts it shouldn't be a problem. All you have to learn is the actual lecture content (I'm completely serious, amazing huh?).

I fucked up that table question. It said in the lectures that the polymerase opens up the helix at the -10 TAATA or whatever it was. I assumed that this is where it would begin to incorporate the NTPs into the strand...

And I only half-answered the question about secondary structures.

yeah, I already got slightly drunk straight after the exam. Lol

I meant BIOL1903 (concepts isn't even a thing. Lol)

What?! It did?!
Well, fuck me! I had no idea, I just fucking dove in and couldnt find a stop codon and then cried.

Secondary structures? Lol so much BS I just talked about alpha and beta a lot and how they did things (what things I don't know).

guys, just a heads up that there are some people who might not have sat the exam and though I seriously doubt they'd be on bos, if the uni finds you talking about specific exam stuff, they can rage (but not do anything so meyh) because often they don't bother changing the exam for people who do it later.

what am I even saying I'm only writing something because I haven't posted in here for a couple of days lol

Thanks for the heads up.

Does anyone know when the results are going to be out?

Semester 2, 2012 Unit of Study Results (marks and grades) will be released progressively on MyUni from Monday 26 November.
EDIT: I know this, but when do the majority actually get released? Last time it was around two weeks after the listed date If I recall correctly...

iirc they came out like <1 week after the date last sem, but probably will be two or more this time because they don't have to rush to get them back before next sem starts because there's such a big gap.

Got my result already...:p
How did you manage that?

No. lol. I just walked in and hoped for the best. Yolo

I got the first 25 marks and I only needed 17 so I just wrote whatever for the next few questions. lol
I had a 1.5 hour power nap at around 3:30, managed to cram in almost everything before the exam.

Also, I didn't get any excess oxygen for the second question, and I rechecked my working several times... either I misread (possible due to lack of sleep), or the person who wrote the exam is messing with us.

Last question I didn't get to finish. I had an atomic carbon balance, a hydrogen balance and an energy balance but two of my flow rates ended up being negative. I re-did the question and obtained the same answer... so I just cut the loss, re-checked everything and cried internally (see: your sig) for the remaining five minutes.

Sigh, I'm already starting to feel the post exam caffeine withdrawal.
