I had an exam for business yesterday and i was uncertain of a question. A question asked whether a product must be of what quality? Is it merchantable or acceptable quality?

Yes you should of received the mark, since the Trades Practices Act stated that products need to be of merchantable quality, but since then it's been overrided by the ACL and has been changed to acceptable.
