However, I had c.

Oh okay, yeah the only reason I had C for question 4 was because she was FORCED to hide the cigarettes and duress is doing something against your will. She wasnt provoked to hide them. But I dunno.

The highest court of appeal is ultimately the High Court, which has a criminal jurisdiction, but the question is ambiguous; does it mean the next court it can appeal to or what will ultimately be the highest court it can appeal to?

I said High Court. Fingers crossed.

"What is the Highest court that could hear an appeal by Morgan against the conviction"

It is an appeal on the question of law, thus the High Court would be the highest court of appeal for Morgan.

I think you are slightly confused between appeals on questions of law, and appeals on sentence because the high court can hear appeals, by special leave, from Federal, State and Territory courts, on questions of law. The highest court for sentence appeals is the Supreme court of appeal. Considering the question concerned a question of law in contrast to a challenge on appeal, it could go to the high court for appeal.

You seem really confident and I hope that you are right because I put down the same answers - except question 19, I put b.
