Hah! That is literally like saying you don't want to do civil engineering because you dont want to be a brick layer, or that you don't want to do mechanical because you don't want to be a mechanic... Electrical Engineering is pretty broad, you could do power, electronics, telecommunications, control systems (well at UTS the last two are under ICT Engineering)
is UTS good for eng?

Do u know what other engineering courses are there with nice maths? im interested in electrical engineering :D but i dont want to be an electrician....
Even if you complete a 4 year bachelor degree in electrical engineering you cannot become a licensed electrician. To become an electrician you would still be required to complete a 4 year apprenticeship (although you would likely get some credit towards the theory components of the apprenticeship).

my body is ready for engineering, probably either civil or petroleum at unsw

anyone know how sydney civil is compared to unsw civil?
usyd would be a lot closer to me
