Complex No. Question (1 Viewer)

From the Arnold/Cambridge 4U book. Exercise 2.1 question 9b.

It says solve the following quadratic equation:
2x^2 - 4x + 3 = 0

I keep getting 1 (+-) [i SQRT(2)]/2
but the answer is 1 (+_) i/[SQRT(2)] and I dont know how to get that

Help is much appreciated

Can you at least get to 4 (+-) i squareroot 8 / 4? because from there you just simplify it

I just realised that i was missing the very last step of multiplying the top and bottom by SQRT(2)

just a question but isnt it better to leave it in the form that its in in the second last line?

For starters, I was using a document typesetting called LaTeX. Explore here: http://www.codecogs.com/latex/eqneditor.php

Enter your symbols, copy and paste it onto the forum and [.tex] to the beginning of your code and [/.tex] to the end of your code. [Do not put the full stops]
