Same here, because I was always reading stuff for school/uni. Now I've started to get back into reading for pleasure and it's good, but reading speed and level of concentration is nowhere near what it used to be.Used to do it all the time for leisure as a kid...fell out of the habit mid HS
Ive heard somewhere that the last 30 mins before you sleep are the things you'll be able to remember most.It had been proven that you can remember better before you go to sleep, ofc saying 'before bed' may not be right before bed, maybe an hour before?
I did it once and it did work
