2. Should I go for a combined degree or single? and what do you do in a combined degree?
3. Can you change courses during uni?
4. This may sound stupid but whats the difference between commerce and economics?
5. Which uni would be better, USYD, UNSW, UWS, Macquarie, UTS?

Still depends. You usually do two degrees at the same time in less time than it would take to do them separately.

---> B Commerce/B Economics (this is a combined degree right?)

Would anyone recommend psychology or computer science?

Unless you decide to use Arts to figure out what you want to do and flesh out your strengths, and do a Masters of something or rather, such as Teaching or a Juris Doctor or even Medicine potentially.

On the basis of degree, a B. Economics gives you the option to do majors strictly in the realm of economics while a B. Commerce gives you a wide range of major choice such as finance, marketing, accounting etc.

1. An arts degree is a degree which contains subjects like history, philosophy, languages, english and other humanities and is so broad that there is no specific vocational path tied to it. It is also a risky degree in it's own ways because if you end up choosing all the random subjects you're preparing for unemployment 2 years down the road.

2. It's up to you as a person. Are you able to handle lots of workload? Combined degrees usually have more job prospects in comparison to single degrees as you graduate with 2 different degrees and therefore you're on an advantage in terms of employment. However, the workload in a combined degree is very hefty and if you don't manage yourself well, either one of your degrees will suffer.

3. Yes you can, but you need good marks. At least Distinction average.

4. In economics you basically focus on having economics as your major, whereas in commerce, you can choose accounting, finance, international business etc. to be your major.

5. Depends on what degree you're looking for. But usually as a rule of thumb: USYD and UNSW are the good ones, macquarie and uts are decent and uws= avoid it if you can.
