absolutely amazing, finally set on either civil engineering/ commerce unsw or civil eng/ mining eng at unsw. Depending on ATAR. Bloody eng/comm 96.40 -.-
What are you thinking of majoring in if you end up doing Commerce?

Initially, I wanted to do straight commerce, and major in both accounting and finance, however combining it with civil eng I think finance would be most appropriate and enjoyable.

luv that bonus point feel

you'll only need an atar around 92-93 at the most
chill
relax
etc.

It's not my cup of tea I have to admit, but best of luck.

Hahaha, oh my. If only it were that simple, I'd prefer being on the safer side of things and attaining at least a 94 ATAR. But I'm not too sure, 92-93 should be easy - so if that could get me in I'd be over the moon haha.

trust me when i say the atar cut off won't go up to 99

so 94 is over the top in terms of safety atars
but w/e man
go ahead and waste some effort if you want

I doubt such effort would prove to be a waste... in fact, very little effort would need to be put in to achieve a 94. But thank you, hopefully you're right.

Is there an ANU open day, I'd go there :)
Yeah I went to it, it was on the 25th of Aug.

And lol, weather atrocious??? You Sydney people must have high weather standards. It was the first time I had been somewhere that wasn't popsicle cold in Aus for months! It was like recently -1 around where I live. And I had no trouble getting a park :D Though if I lived in Syd I would take public transport.

I really liked UNSW Open Day. I think I even saw one of you at Philosophy.

Free stuff was good, advisory centre people were enthusiastic and informative, Physics and Adv. Sci lectures were nice. A particular standout for me was the Computer Science lecture by Richard Buckland. That guy seemed really passionate about the subject and proud of his faculty and students. +Respect. I would love to have a lecturer like him when I do Adv. Science/Arts.

Edit: Also, psychology and philosophy was alright. Maybe I was negatively biased on Phil because I've already considered all of the content before, so it didn't feel as fresh.

What are you planning on doing? Might be able to indicate how many days.
