not really. I know that advanced is a lot more intensive at usyd at least.

I did/am doing all but one subject advanced this year and the workload is pretty cray.

So far at usyd I know:
Advanced chem - lectures are different, but content is mostly the same, test is very difficult.
Advanced maths - lectures are different, content is harder, exam is a lot harder.
Advanced physics - lectures are different, most content is the same with some extra stuff, some of the questions in the exam are a bit harder.

Do adv sc and normal sc people attend the same lectures?

At usyd - for biology, yes, for chemistry/physics/molecular biology and genetics, no.

You don't have to be enrolled in an advanced degree to take advanced subjects. And if you meet the requirements for the advanced degree you graduate with BSc (Advanced). That is for USyd idk about UNSW.

I'm pretty sure you need to graduate with advanced senior units for your major.

Yeah the adv subjects are harder- I meant that a normal BSc student enrolled in adv units will be doing the same thing.

5 - USyd - BSc(Adv) - 95.00
6 - USyd - BSc(Adv Maths) - 98.35
7 - UWS - BSc(Adv) - 90.00 - 91.40
8 - UWS - BMedSc(Adv) - 90.10 - 91.75
9 - UNSW - BMedSc - 95.10

Late Round (if I get BE/BSc (i.e. miss out on med):
1 - UNSW - MBBS - N/A
2 - UWS - MBBS - N/A
3 - UNLCE/UNE - Joint medicine program - N/A
4 - USyd - BSc/BA - 80.50 (but it'd really be BSc(Adv Maths)/BA - 98.35)

Then if I still don't get med I'll put BEd/BSc(Adv) at pref 4.

And if I get into med in the first round I'll probs put some obscure degree with a really low cutoff as 1 to seeing it pushes the cutoff for late round really high. Haha

Hi, If you are concerned that you won't meet the ATAR for the Bachelor of Business and Commerce/Bachelor of Laws, you could also add the Bachelor of Business and Commerce (BBC) on its own to your preference list. If you are unable to get into the double degree, you can do the BBC on its own for 6-12 months, and then apply for an internal transfer into the combined program with law.
