Do you think it is a bad idea to begin a relationship in year 11/ 12 when it is such a crucial time for study? Having to constantly talk to your significant other etc etc? Or should one just wait for uni to start searching seeing as you have made it into uni ?

In my opinion, i'd just wait to uni seeing as high school relationships are a joke.

I know a few high school relationships which have kept going nicely at uni.

And a few which have kinda died.

but... if you love someone

follow your heart

'cause love comes once

if you're lucky enough

Why put it off. The same reasons against it for HSC can be applied to uni. Do what makes you happy.

But what if you don't make it into uni and end up taking a course you really didn't want in the first place? Life ruined. Aspirations lost.

You don't know what 'life ruined' is until you've been to poorer countries.

And what if you do really badly at uni and keep failing so you have to drop out and end up giving $2 blowjobs on a Kingcross corner while your boyfriend Blade is slinging cocaine to Taiwanese transsexuals.

It's all relative.

Ok ok, maybe I exaggerated a little. It's just that you know that dream job that we all envisage? What if that crumbles due to one relationship which u had to committ so much time to. Time that could have well been spent going for the gold.

Well let's say you were to get a 95+ ATAR as a result of spending all your time studying or just purely winging it whateves, point is you are not likely to fail at uni -_-
I know there is a possibility but really, c'mon..

It could be a benefit though.

Helps reduce stress during HSC year having some one there etc.

(inb4 some dirty comment).
