You guys think it is a good idea to do a double degree say comm/adv. maths or engineering/science or whatever etc... then do gamsat and do medicine so I end up with three degrees then get PhD and all that cool stuff?
I like med/eng/science so I wanna do all of them then specialise in something that relates to all like medical physics.

Do a double degree, but don't do several, a bit of a waste of time.

WHY DID SOMEONE DELETE ALL MY COOL POSTS

haha okay.

But seriously, don't do like 3 seperate degrees.

You know that you can do a double degree and major in a lot of areas. It will extend your uni time but you will learn about your desired areas. Will save you years

Might do medicine/science (physics) but I can't do medicine as undergrad, didn't do umat, gamsat should be easy though, I'm a beast at science.

I haven't even done my HSC yet, what if I fuck up and end up not getting 99.95 :(
At this point I have no achievements.

Who cares...
I wasn't even saying any achievements but looks like you could not interpret the meaning of what I said. I said I'm a beast at science because I'm not doing the UMAT because I suck at logical/IQ-like questions so I think I'll do much better at the GAMSAT and I have a better chance in getting into med through the GAMSAT, also this allows me to do a science degree before going into medicine because I don't want to limit myself to only medicine. I was discussing the advantages/disadvantages of doing multiple degrees, I didn't say it for any reason other than that so what is your problem exactly?

I think what they mean is that you can ask questions and stuff, but you don't need to add in stuff like 'I'm a beast at science' or 'omg what if I don't get 99.95 so devo' and shit. Now I don't know or care if you just genuinely didn't see it or you like to subtly tell everyone how great (you think) you are, but I doubt much of this is relevant to your questions

So just ask what you need to ask, even if you're really a genius some modesty doesn't hurt

Now on topic, Q1-7 is just testing your knowledge of contents, Q8 is how well you can string together everything you know and apply it to some problem. You can't really study for it, but I guess practice with unconventional questions and train your mind in how to think and approach hard questions

I'll try and do all question 8's from 1990 - 2011. Do you think a tutor can help with this type of questions or I have to rely on my own skills?

according to Manly High 4u teacher, the last question i.e q6 won't be as hard as q8 in old format
what they are going to do is that distribute the hard bits of q8 in all questions in the new format.....so say part i) q8 would be last part 1st question of new format.....
Obviously the last question lol. Question 6 if memory serves me right?

Just have to wait and see.

But yea i agree, i don't think the questions will be systematic like the previous formats. (e.g. Q1 - Integration, Q2 - Complex numbers etc)

Great name choice, very confronting. As far as Question 7&8 go, just do them, then again, then read about maths on wikipedia.
