Every public school in the state is involved.

Teachers want an agreement to retain the same existing/current level of students to staff ratio in schools. Barry O'Farrel plans to slash 8000 public sector works and many teachers fear those jobs will come from the education sector - Barry O'Farrel has refused to rule this out.

The teachers are not even asking for a pay-rise or better conditions, just to maintain the current conditions for the good of the students.

I think this issue related to O'Farrel's "Local Schools, Local decisions" policy. I wihs our school is involved, i need a day off....:p

If it is a public school it is likely your school will be involved. Yes, 24 hour stop work.
