I think they are talking about TeXing on the forums, though Documents aren't a whole lot different.

Provided they don't ask me how to use TikZ to some super high level I'll just teach them what they need and want to know


edit: to clarify - TikZ is a way of drawing vector graphics with latex, something i'm still learning

Not gonna happen. I bet you will get lazy after a while when you realise how long it takes to generate graphics using some package say pstricks.
