Hi, I heard you can claim extra points if you've had a rough family life or anything of that nature in the HSC.
Is that true?
And does anyone know where I can find extra information regarding that or can post a link?

Speak to your year advisor. If you do you'll more likely get it than if you leave it till last minute

Eas is 3 extra points I believe. If your ATAR is not high enough for the course you want and your principal believes you have the ability to do well at uni your principal can recommend you. http://www.canberra.edu.au/principals-recommendation
