I didn't mind the Echo when it was new- but then I was 17 years old and would be happy with anything really. If that describes the OP, then I think this car will be fine. Won't be the coolest/etc but if it works well, has good air conditioning (probably most important feature to me nowadays) then I'd go for it. I'd try and stretch for a newer and lower km model Yaris or Corolla though.
