For those who are in yr 12 or who have finished school, is it worth studying like 3 hrs a day during the holidays?
i mean, I am and most are going to study some amount but how much does everyone recommend doing?

Discuss...

However much is required so that you're confident you will receive your desired mark.

I'm aiming for a subject a day:
A schedule like this could be effective: (I haven't made an exact schedule as of yet)
Monday - Adv Eng
Tuesday - EE1. English Tutor
Wednesday - Maffs 2U and 3U
Thursday - Physics, MAFFS TUTOR HOLIDAY LESSON
Friday - Economics
Saturday - Business Studies, MAFFS TUTOR
Sunday - Physics Tutor, Any subject, probably a bit on each subject.

So, I'd say anywhere between 1.5 to 3 hours each day is enough.

Days off are important as well.

For prelim? Gosh no. Relax! Prelim is a breeze. Its year 12 when you need to study in your holidays. Go out and have fun!

Respect if you manage to pull it off in the holidays. I imagine most people to sleep for endless hours doing nothing else but watching television series.

Yeah might just play Xbox haha. But seriously, I reckon it would be worth doing some study. Well Maths, at least it's fun. But English... I get depressed.

Good god, PLEASE YEAR 11s, enjoy and relax these holidays!!! your yr 12 self will thank yourself for it. Trust me.

Only do a little if you're really itching to do some. I could maybe understand if at somes chools your half yearlies are when you get back, where at my school they are just finishing up in the next two days.

i think for hsc'ers, its worth t to do this, what im gonna do every day of hols:
90 minutes maths 3u and 4u
15 min break
90 minutes chem
15 min break
90 minutes phys
15 min break
90 minute english
15 min break.

6 hrs study. quite efficient pre-hsc id say. just gotta stick to it!

Unless your really experienced with doing that amount of work, you're putting yourself on the fast track towards burnout. This is the kind of stuff you do in year 12.
