Could I please get an indication of what ATAR I'd be looking at..

Adv English 3/36
Ext 1 English =2/5
Ext 2 English 2/3
Modern History 1/6
Ext History 1/5
Textiles & Design 1/8
Maths 5/17
Physics 5/19

School Rank... don't laugh ... 502

Thanks!

95.75, and there were only about 4 others that I know of that cracked the 90s
The four that were low 90s were mainly Humanities / English kids (along with the random Bio / Art / Maths)

I reakon somewhere between 78-88. Your overall performance will really depend on the externals due to your low school rank. The three units which wont count will probably consist of maths and physics. Sorry if I couldnt be more specific.

Thanks! I'm hoping to get low 90s, but I know that the school rank is definitely going to be a drawback to that.

Low 90's is possible, as you hold many firsts. But you need to do well on the externals, you will not have internal marks to fall back on like many students do. Hope you manage to get there though.

^ That.

I'm thinking 80-85 right now, though of course that should perhaps be more correctly stated as 80+, depends on externals.

Congratz - I'm glad I was wrong. Just out of curiousity, did you do better internally or externally, or was it about even?

For maths and physics I did better internally (as expected, I hardly studied for them knowing that only 1 unit would count from either one), but the others only had one mark between them.
Being first in Modern and Ext History was really advantageous, so I managed to get a 96 and 45, which I think boosted me a bit.
Thanks again!

So it doesn't really matter what school you go to and the cohort you have? :)
