Do you plan to sell your notes/essays once you finish the HSC (1 Viewer)

In the Buy/Sell sub forum lots of people sell the essays and notes they make throughout their HSC for the $$$, and some actually make quite a lot of money from it. I'm curious to other people's responses to these questions.

• Would you sell your notes/essays?
• What mark would you want to get to sell your notes/essays?
• Any opinions of selling notes/essays?
  
  

Example:
I would sell my notes, though will distribute my essays for free (Unless I were to get 20/20 raw for them or something). If I were to sell my notes I'd only sell them if I got a Band 6 for the subject. I wouldn't sell them for a high price even if I were to receive 95+ because I don't think it should be sold for more than the textbook it is based on. (that may change if I get a state rank though I probably won't and even then my max price would be $50)

1. Notes - for free, Essays (if they're around 19 or 20/20) I would probably sell for $5-$10.

3. People should only sell their notes if they are concise, comprehensive and contain extensive information not found within textbooks. For example, I purchased michaeljennings PDHPE notes and they've been very useful for helping me build up my own notes as they contain information that is far more detailed and extensive then most sources ie textbooks. Essays in my opinion, should be sold if they obviously have a high mark as people are able to learn about how to set out a great essay, what language needs to be used, how to structure it and etc. If however, the notes are owned by a state ranker then the story might be different..

I'd say I'd probably give them for free. I want to at the least distribute them to the kiddies at my school.

This site has given me great help, help that I'm not so lucky to get as I'm a regional student.

I'd give notes out for free on BoS, not too sure about essays...
But, lets see how I do in the HSC first of all xD

If I get good enough marks that people would be willing to pay, then I probably would try to make a few bucks out of it. I guess it also depends what my notes look like at the end of the year, cause I really prefer handwriting them and I don't write out every single thing I need to know - so not great for distribution.

I use a good set of state-rank notes (Kamal and Jayson) and don't make great notes since I try to get information that my teacher will assess us on. My essays are rarely high marks - max is 18/20.

Also you guys might want to think about placing your notes on PDF files if you are going to upload it onto this website.

I'm going to sell everything to the year below me at school for exorbitant prices (I hate most of them) - I've been typing up all my notes in LaTeX so they look professional and whatnot, so hopefully I'll make some sweet cash.

That being said I'd also like to give back to this forum, so I'll be either uploading them to the resources section or (especially if I get a state rank ) posting a thread saying that they're available for free and then send them to people as I deem fit. Also got notes from people last year that I'll be selling for significantly reduced prices or maybe even just giving away.

Would probably sell my Prelim Advanced and Extension English essays - received 20/20 for Mod A and C and 19/20 for B (Advanced), 14.5/15 (Creative), 15/15 essay (AOS - Journeys Advanced), 24/25 (HOD essay - Post-colonialism and Imperialism), 25/25 (Revenge Tragedy essay) (Extension 1 English)
Not my HSC ones though. Reserving them for my tutees when I start tutoring..
