Is there a limit to how long you can stay in a particular building? I can't seem to find a list of rules anywhere.

Why do you want to know this...?

Except for the obvious restrictions of university business/teaching hours, you can stay at places that aren't specifically time restricted for as long as you want. The places that are time restricted in some form are computers in the library (you need to book them to use them), tute rooms and lecture theatres since they have people that use them and study rooms in the library (need to be booked, but if they aren't occupied, you can use them but must vacate it for the people that have booked it when they arrive).

"sorry sir you have been sitting in this building for TOO LONG you must leave now"
Going from school to uni, it just seems a bit weird.

Oh that. Meh, they won't care. You have to remember university is filled with mostly 18+ people. We're mostly all adults.

Actually if you stay in a building for more than three hours you will be escorted off campus by university security and a permanent mark for loitering will be made against your transcript.

No man it happens all the time, even if you have a 4 hour class, after 3 hours they just drag you the fuck out
