I would never be able to do that.
Things have to be done. Otherwise, after the HSC when you get like 3 months off b4 uni, you could be sitting at the computer crying because you didn't get your desired ATAR. How much would you love the internet then ;P ?

I studied about 1-2 hrs a day of Maths these holidays and will start the others after the new school year. Except for maths I have no idea how to DO the study. Do I just write and read notes? Do practice papers?
For English I usually do phantom essays (essays responding to a made up questions) and for Maths I just do questions from the book. How about Science?

I think maths is more about understanding the concepts behind the stuff than writing notes, which is why people do so many past papers and nobody makes notes

I find it's beneficial to have a small summary that I can read through just to job my memory. In my MX1 summary I've basically just got a list of formulas, but for MX2 I go into a bit more detail. But yeah, I agree, if you don't understand the concepts your marks will suffer no matter how many pages of notes you write. (Also, writing notes in latex is good fun )
