Where do I find the core courses for commerce and advanced math?
Also; how quickly should I add my courses to the enrolment basket.
Cheers

Oh I almost forgot, the School of Maths website has plans for the subject. Plans that outline what courses you should take for different majors for each semester.

Scroll down.
ahh thanks for that shadowdude. im not too sure what i want to major in yet in either commerce or adv math
so by choosing these subjects:
ACCT1501
ECON1101
MATH1141
SCIF112
will this enable me to leave my options open regarding majoring until second semester?

how about math1151 ? is it the same as math1141 ?
No, MATH1151 is aimed at Actuarial students. MATH1141 is for Mathematics students. Course content is similar, but different in bits. If you want to be an actuary, do 51, if you want to do maths, take 41.

Well, if you want to do Quant Risk and are accepted into it, then of course.

But you get invited into that program, so go up one day and ask if you're invited into it. If not, then I think there's no use for you to be doing 51 in a Maths degree.

You won't do 1151 if you decide to change. They will probably just exempt you because you have done 1141/1241.

MATH1141 and MATH1151 are mutually exclusive.
