HEY GUYS,

I WAS JUST WONDERING IF THE ALLIGNING PROCESS IS TRUE. COULD PEOPLE PLEASE SHARE THEIR EXPERIENCES WITH THEIR HSC MARKS CAUSE IM NOT SURE IF IT IS TRUE.

LIKE FOR EXAMPLE FOR THOSE THAT RECIEVED A 93 OR SO HSC MARK FOR A SUBJECT DO YOU FELL LIKE YOU RECIEVED THAT AS A RAW MARK OR DID THE ALLIGNING PROCESS AFFECT IT?

THANKS

Scaling doesn't exist, nor does aligning. Your HSC mark is your raw mark. Hence it's better to do general maths and easily get 98% as opposed to doing extension maths and only getting 70%.

Seriously though, sit down and just think logically about it.

Yes, aligning and scaling is true. I got 46/50 for MX1 and that's definately not my raw mark.

If you're already in Yr 12 it's too late for you really-unless you're tossing up on dropping by two. Just chill and do the best you can do.

Shouldn't really effect your choice at the end of yr 10 *too* much either, better to do the subjects you're best at. (Unless you should by taking a higher level like in math or eng etc.).

lol i didnt even realise that caps was on.

im just not sure if it exists or not. cause in my school i was guaranteed that a student wouldve got 80/100 raw mark in business studies but she didnt get a band 6 in it. could that be because of the raw mark for a band 6 increased for this year or doesnt alligning exist.

lol now im confusing myself :(

thanx again

How can you not look at the screen, or at least read what you're typing before you submit it?

LOLOLOL mate just because someone says something doesnt mean its true. Santa Claus isnt real. How would anyone have known that this person WOULDVE gotten 80 as a raw mark? Are they psychic?
