Term 1, 2010: 97+
Term 2, 2010: 97+
Term 3, 2010: ~98

Actual: 95.40.

Got into my course, don't care.

So really, the moral of the story is, "Goal is a course - not a number".

Term 2, 2011: 97+
Term 3, 2011: 95+
HSC period: 96+

Actual: 93.10 =_=

Music II destroyed my ATAR by two whole points: an 80/100 scaled down to a 49/100 T_T
Music Extension scaled me down from 45/50 to 33/50 :(

Because of this, I won't ever want to touch a creative arts subject. :(

My goal throughout the whole year was 98+ and I told my self that no matter what I got if it was above 98 I'd be proud but for the amount of work I put in I really really hoped for (and expected) at least 99. Was relatively disappointed with 98.35 even though I reached my goal, but what pissed me off even more was that I randomly failed English Ext 1, History and Chemistry after being so devoted to them and somehow did really well in economics and english advanced despite loathing every milisecond of study in those subjects.

Term 4, 2010: goal of 85
Term 2, 2011: goal of 80
Term 3, 2011: goal of 75-80

ATAR: 95.05 .... I still have no idea how I could've got such mark, when I felt I had performed so badly in the HSC.

Eff ma life. All I wanted all year was to get above 90 and then bam 81.65. And as you can see in my sig 4 of my marks were actually rather amazing. Just my stupid school and the fact that everyone above that can do so well all year sucks, whilst I do average all year and do amazing. Just goes to show that the HSC wants essays not narrative in History, and that people at my school suck at external exams. Eff them.
Ohh well I can still get into my course. So yayyyy! But so disappointed.

Got 97 externally in Eng Adv and Eco, was expecting mid band 5
Got 91 Externally in Mod, was expecting state rank
Got 38 Externally in Eng Ext, was expecting 48+

Weird how that happens, but more than weird it's just depressing. Subjects your pour your heart and soul into end up not counting, while subjects you couldnt care less about end up being the main contributors to your ATAR. makes me hate HSC so much more

That's still pretty good.
I was expecting my friend to state rank Eco and he got 86. So. :/
Also, I expected to get ~95 in bio but got cocky and didn't study and got 86. :/
Sometimes we fuck up and just don't know it, and it usually takes us by surprise.
You still did amazing and that's all that matters. :)

I poured my heart and soul into MX1 and expected ~98 and ended up getting 88 because I freaked out in the exam, same with MX2, I expected ~88 and I had a panic attack in the exam and got 78. So, I guess we just have to learn from our mistakes and move on. :/ At least you got your goal. :)

Term 4 2010: 99+
Term 1 2011: 95+ (after doing VERY badly in my first set of assessments :S)
Term 2 2011: 97+

Honestly, I was surprised that I reached my initial goal of 99.
