Quick question on preferences and getting an offer?? (1 Viewer)

Once I get an offer for a course at a certain Uni, if my next preference is for another course at the SAME uni, can i be offered a place in that too? In the next round. Or is it only 1 offer per UNI maximum?

You get only one offer in each round. When UAC reaches your ATAR you will be offered the highest preference available to you (if all the places in your first preference are taken you will be offered your second. If all places in your first and second have been taken you will be offered your third etc).

After the first round of offers you may still be offered a place in a higher preferenced course if one becomes available.

You only get one offer per round. What you are offered is based on how you've ranked your choices. As a result, you can get multiple offers from Uni X but will only have one available to accept.

what of you get offered in the early round of January and you don't change preferences... can they still look at your second preference in the main round cos you first preference was already offered to you.

No. If the first preference doesn't change between rounds, then you will get no offer.
