Is there anyway i can make the attached images appear in my thread instead of as links? community.boredofstudies.org/showthread.php?t=272186&p=5612432

I had them on imageshack at first but it didn't like the size of them.

Upload the file to www.imgur.com

It will give you a link that looks something like:

http://www.i.imgur.com/fsohd.jpg

Then put that link in image tags

http://www.i.imgur.com/fsohd.jpg[./img] (without the fullstop)

You should be able to do it from imageshack as well, but imgur works better, and is much easier.

Imageshack will often post the image with a link as well. That's why I recommend imgur.

Just leave them TBH, it's not worth the effort.

either use the bbcode or when inserting an image using the rich text interface make sure "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" is unticked

Images don't seem to be working in posts in the 'Sport' sub-forum. The javascript tool also seems to be different compared to this sub-forum as well.

For imageshack links, copy what they give you for forum code, and then delete the uploaded by imageshack part
