As the title says, do the marks you get in yr 11 contribute to your ATAR at the end of yr 12?

No, they do not. Only the assessments that you do from term 4 onwards go towards your ATAR.

Nope, but don't be deceived that because it doesn't count, it doesn't matter. Some content does actually carry forward to how you are able to answer questions, understand concepts etc., so knowing the Preliminary content is essential. Content in maths is carried over.
