Hey, I use abbreviations such as

alt. /_ = alternate angle

corresp. = corresponding

in my school exams, but is it OK to use stuff like that for HSC?

I use them but only for the obvious ones. There's this thread somewhere where another member posted the MANSW accepted reasons in geometric proofs.

I abbreviate like "/_ in alt. segment".
