Is there even a point to?

I don't think so, i remember my teacher telling the yr 12s that last month was the last month for your final subjects.

You can always try to drop, but i doubt it will make a difference.

Why do you want to drop when your final HSC exam is this week?

Well, you can't officially drop it. If you wanted to, it had to be by a month before HSC started.

You could just not turn up, but it will be recorded on your final testamur, probably with an average of zero and your moderated assessment mark.

That would destroy someones mark in that subject...

Stil, you may as well just wing it at the exam

No it won't. The zero mark would definitely be considered an outlier, so it would be taken out of the moderation process so the last ranked person would still get a mark, as opposed to zero for their assessment mark.

I have.

You cannot drop a subject now, you have finished school. You would of had to last month

I dropped chemistry in term 2 of the HSC, it doesn't have to be before HSC starts. I'm not sure when the cut-off is, but yeah, it can be during the actual HSC.
But this is the external exams, dropping has to be done before the external exams

I made a typo, but it was meant to say, you could drop it anytime so long as it wasn't within the month of HSC starting. It can't be during HSC.

The BOS would go mad if you could, dropping a subject during your externals would create so much paper work
Er, not at all.

I dropped EX1 during HSC, and it was fine. No questions asked.
