Were you meant to refer briefly to Elizabethan values(connected to your thesis) and then state its relevance today?

Or did it make no difference?

Yeah I did - but it was part of my point to do with the ghost - i just stated how it contends to the Elizabethan distrust of ghosts, forming part of the theatrical creation of Hell. Also touched up on the Renaissance era a bit and that is all.

You certainly could, but the module is geared towards textual integrity. Module A certainly requires context though.

Module A and C was fairly straightforward. Module B you had to think abit. But then again, as long as you answer the question you could talk about the Elizabethan values, although Hamlet i think you have to focus more on texture integrity over vaules..
