lol I think he/she is just venting and hoping to find comfort by telling him/her that he/she is okay for the externals.

so...... yeah you'll be fine! 86+ is a possibility especially with marks like that in ext1 and 2 maths

That's not always true. I have a friend who is an international student, he is doing extention 2 and afaik is passing it. The problem is he has difficulty interpreting the questions in bio, physics and chem so 86+ is out of his reach but he is definitely not retarded lol.

You do know that many people at public schools are free to pick up those sort of subjects whether the teachers like it or not.. correct me if im wrong? So i'd assume that is the reason why - merely to look good... look at me i'm doing FOUR unit maths, when really, they probably can't get passed the first question.
