What are the chances of them asking the same questions as previous years?
For some of the options in some sections, there probably will have been a past question very similar to the one we will be doing. They will certainly cover the same areas somewhere in the paper. What are the chances of them asking the same questions as previous years?
I have all three of those, and then economics on that Friday. The week of hell isn't it?I hope they don't ask the same questions for last year, I have disregarded them haha! I find ancient history has more content than any subject, except possibly legal? Try doing the Julio-Claudians and Agrippina guys! Agrippina is okay, she is actually interesting... the Julio-Claudians however, are awful! ONE essay question and you need to know the policies, reformations, building project, relationship with senate, praetorian guard, army etc. I cannot wait until ancient is over! I think it is particularly lovely that they give us maths, religion and ancient ALL IN A ROW! AHhh
Yea you're right, at least Ag is interesting...Augustus on the other hand, sighh soooooo much content to remember (WHY COULDN'T HE HAVE DONE LESS STUFF D=)!I hope they don't ask the same questions for last year, I have disregarded them haha! That's why I feel fortunate for doing both Xerxes and Persia for my period and personality. Both are probably the most interesting courses I've done in my six years of schooling. I just wish some Australian university had courses on Near Eastern Ancient history.Yea you're right, at least Ag is interesting...Augustus on the other hand, sighh soooooo much content to remember (WHY COULDN'T HE HAVE DONE LESS STUFF D=)!
I haven't even bothered learning Mycenae yet =/
They do, Macquarie university.I just wish some Australian university had courses on Near Eastern Ancient history.
Ah you poor poor thing... I can empathise with you... At least we get half our exams done in a week I'm happy to finis on the 3rd November (legal)I have all three of those, and then economics on that Friday. The week of hell isn't it?

Are you referring to the undergraduate B.Arts 'Egypt and the Near East'? Because I cant find anything that centres around Persia:

It would be really awesome if they offered something on Persia and I was simply missing it!
That's awesome! I would never have selected any of those, Although I was considering the Near Eastern Documents and possibly Antiquity's heirs.I lurk here and there =]
You just need to know where to look! These units, while not focusing exclusively on the Near East, look at Persian/Iranian history in fair detail. I've taken a couple of them and they were absolutely fantastic, particularly 'antiquities heirs', did a major assessment on the promotion of religion in Sasanian Iran, interesting stuff.
