Uni Course Cut-Offs- meaning of 'nc' (1 Viewer)

Hey,

I was flicking through the UAC course guide book, and I came across ATAR cut-off of 'nc'.
Now, I know what it means- "No Cut-Off ATAR" - but then how do they select students for it? What's the selection criteria? Anyone know?

Anything with 'nc' is generally a new course... So there has yet to be a cut off.

the cut offs in the atar guide are the cut offs from last year and are not necessarily the cut offs for the 2012 year. They are given as a guide for new students. The "nc" means that they did not offer the course last year and therefore they did not have an atar cut off.
