Band 6 Possible if I meet the requirements (raw mark band 6)? ie. high 70% in English Advanced in HSC October.

I reakon you're looking at 80-85 maybe. You could possibly get band 6 in French, but I doubt whether you will get any elsewhere.

You mean an ATAR of 80-85? or the mark 80-85?

It is possible. Why not? Technically it is 50% 50% but if you do well in your HSC your school mark goes up. Just do well in your external. Your school rank is very high and thus it is possible.

It could be a bit higher, I doubt whether you will hit the 90's though. But externals are worth 50% so it can happen.

my friend goes to a better ranked school than yours and he got pretty much same marks as yours n he got mid band 5s

okay, don't listen to these snitches man. I'm guessing ur in a competitive school and a low rank doesn't neccesarily mean you're stupid right? 90 is very achievable if you perform well in the HSC good luck!

yea think this way, the school rank was last year, so maybe this year your school rank is gonna jump 20 spots forward and your cohort is smart too. with enough motivation and faith band 6 is possible
