Do you handwrite your notes, type them or both and why?

I type them because my handwriting is atrocious and typing them up allows colourful fonts, pictures and graphs/tables

Bit of both. I write them first then type em up. However I prefer typing them cos you can change em around any time you want conveniently.

I will type up all my summaries and then get them looked at by a teacher, edit them, then condense them a few weeks before exams and then condense again to only a few words to jog my memory. I do it this way to help with memorising all my notes

I tend to do both. Easier to write but my handwriting is horrible :(

I find that handwriting is eally good for when you are in class but hanwriting does take me more time than typing. So I try not to double up on my notes but I type summaries from my handwritten notes.
Also, when you are studying, typed notes are easier on the eyes-Especially with my tiny running writing..

Handwrite
- Practice writing speed.
- Easier to remember.
- The page looks different and you know exactly where it is.
- Better organised.
- No waiting time to find notes.

This is just a personal option that I take but you really have your own choices and you should never make decisions based on what others have done.
