Its weird, I feel like we are like the last generation as everything is starting to change..... Like theirs a new syllabus coming out, we were the last year to do the School certificate and their is plenty more I can think of, how do you guys feel? :)

Today was the last day of class. I'm surprised by how little I care. It's probably because I'm still going to see my classmates, despite the fact that class has ended.
And the school trolled us by announcing Co-Op/Med applications have to be handed in to the principal today, when UNSW clearly states 30th September, so I was preoccupied. And the HSC is coming up :(

I thought last day for everyone across the state is next week, but are you in a private school? Because that makes sense if you are.

This. I thought the end of the HSC was "the finish line" as well. I thought, no more stressing for exams, studying etc. Then when uni starts, you have to do it all over again and its pretty much the same crap as year 11 and 12. So dont think its over, its just the begining.

So relieved it's over. I'm glad I'll never have to see anyone in my year again. I fucking hate them all.

Read my sig. Sydney High is NOT a private school.
I reiterate: Friday 16th September 2011 is my last day of class. Monday is a charity collection and Tuesday is Year 12 Farewell.

I assume you mean Year 12? Not many people take Year 11 seriously.

Don't remind me...I was excited before but I'm pretty depressed now seeing as all my classes were quite special and fun. Uni definitely won't be like that (from what I've heard) and...I'll just miss having the small community of school as opposed to the blarghlioikdlfjs of uni. :(

As a VOF (very old fart) let me say that you WILL part company from your school buddies over the coming years. Then, after you have a successful career and a loving family, you will again appreciate how much of you essence you derived from your school friends (and even those you "thought" were not part of your crowd). You will eventually arrive at a position that your school days were the most important times of your life, you will bond again with long-lost school friends and cherish one of the most important times of your life. School reunions rock!
