Okay, I'm absolutely shocking at maths and cannot work this out for the life of me.

How would I work out my assessment mark bearing task weightings in mind?

Assessment One: Weighting - 30% Mark - 96.67%

Assessment Two: Weighting - 30% Mark - 100%

Assessment Three: Weighting - 40% Mark - 96%

okay so for each assessment you must do the following:

your mark/ total mark x the weighting e.g. 75/ 85 x 35 % weighting
total weighting - the answer from above (e.g. 30.88) = 4.12 %

then do the same for all your other assessments and then add them all up
once you have done that then take away from 100
so for example,
assessment 1: 4.12 % lost
assessment 2: 2 % lost
asessment 3: 1% lost

therefore 100 - (4.12 + 2+ 1) = whatever

hope that helps you :)

Assessment One: Weighting - 30% Mark - 96.67%

Assessment Two: Weighting - 30% Mark - 100%

Assessment Three: Weighting - 40% Mark - 96%
Assessment Task 1 = (96.67x30)/100 = 29/30

Assessment Task 2 = (100x30)/100 = 30/30

Assessment Task 3 = (96x40)/100 = 38.4/40

Now - 29+30+38.4 = 97.4

Final raw assessment mark = 97.4

does it really matter when assessment marks get so heavily moderated anyway?

The better your assessment mark the higher your rank will be and thus the higher your final mark will be.
