itt: anecdotes from a wanker about how because his dad once marked hsc exams and didnt get home till 10:30, then obviously all teachers don't get home till 10:30

spare me the fuck, honestly. i went to school for 13 years m8, i can actually vouch for maybe like 5 teachers in those 13 years. the rest were useless, illiterate, lazy spastics who would curl up into a ball and kill themselves if they actually had to do a job that required doing more than making people read shit from a text book and half arsedly try and explain the concepts.

Oh you went to school so therefore you know what teachers do? Hey I've been hospitalized a few times so allow me to cast aspersions on the medical profession. Bitter, nihilistic, self pitying bitch who thinks anyone who doesn't experience identical conditions to her own must be some effete spoilt brat.

omg that's the first half correct thing you've ever said on this forum, yes you are!
Oh? I work forty hours a week in warehousing, 5am starts, ten minute paid break at 8:30, half an hour unpaid paid at 11:30 while studying full time. I also do eight hours of volunteer work with the YCW each week. Am taking arabic lessons on the side. Obviously it's not quite as much as my parents are doing but I'll get there. What, pray tell, would you like me to do on top and I'll see if I can accommodate your high standards oh poor, hard working Tully?

teaching isn't cushy... ahah

you know what isn't cushy, the local bakers who work from 4:30am in the morning till 7pm each night and get paid $40k a year. nurses who don't get 20 weeks of holidays a year and are understaffed, work ridiculous hours, and get paid less than teachers. police in some areas, who have to deal with drunks every night, who get sworn at, who get attacked, who probably feel threatened for their lives.

I'm really disappointed that Barry didn't do a Kennett and gut upwards of 20k jobs from the public sector so he could reduce stamp duty and everything else like a good liberal patriot

Re: Illegal strikes by public servants

I'm all for them having their say, but they chose the worst possible day. it was the second to last day before my prelims, I needed as much revision as I could get.

Will put $$ down that the same people protesting/striking were probably the ones that kept Labor in power.

(Of course they were)
