how accurate are atar calculators on the net?

and would u use ur raw trial marks or the overall marks for the whole year for each subject for atar calculation?

ATAR calculators are very accurate (the rule of thumb is plus or minus two ATAR points, however its usually within one). Using your raw internal marks however wont give you a very accurate idea of your ATAR, as those marks are heavily moderated by the BOS. They are really only useful to give you an idea as to what final marks are needed in each subject. They are also useful the day before the ATAR's are released.
