i am coming 5th in biology out of about 40. I recieved 86% in the CSSA trial, and a lot of people failed. maybe about 30% of the cohort failed. if hypothetically the SAME results were yielded in the HSC exam, would it bring my mark down much?

Your moderated school mark? Possibly. Depends on how well your cohort goes overall and how high the other marks are in your cohort and how far you are behind 1st.
