I HAAAATED english and I was coming bottom 2 in my class in year 11.
So I hardened the fuck up and now I'm currently coming roughly 7/70 people for HSC.

If you don't like your teacher's methods then get a tutor and just pump out essays and creative pieces like mad.

if the average person coming first is getting an average of 71% and not 100%, have you considered that maybe the teacher knows what he/she is doing? If he couldnt teach or didn't know the answers then he'd be giving everyone 100% to avoid questions about why the student didn't do better.
