I thought Biology would be in the 90's, because it is an easy subject.incorrect
for chem it's ~75. Bio would be lower too.
yeah... I just changed it to out of 100 for percentage sake. Did the same with all except English. Aren't they out of 75 or something?4U maths is out of 120
they wouldn't make you get in the 90s to get 90 on a subject as thoroughly content based as bio.I thought Biology would be in the 90's, because it is an easy subject.
really?!yeah e4 for mx2 is around 70/120.
^ That.Changes every year so the exact raw mark is not accurate.
Where's that?^ That.
Best bet is to go to the 2010 HSC ATAR place and see people who posted their marks and help derive Band 6 cut-offs from there.
Notice what?It took quite long for people to notice didn't it?
I noticed.My post that i made earlier..
ATAR technical arcana I believe.Where's that?
Dude, you're right about everything except MX2 and Business Studies: to get Band 6 in Business Studies, you need roughly 89 or 90 out of 100 because heaps of students statewide do the course. To get a Band 4 in MX2 you need to at least score in the top 45% of students participating in the course. If that happens to be a raw mark of 20% and you're in the top 45th percentile, then your aligned mark will be anywhere between 40-45/50.Advanced - 87/105
MX2 - 74/120
physics - 80/100 (Although most years its 81-82)
Bio - 84/100
Chemistry - 78/100 (some years its 2 or 3 marks higher)
business studies - 84/100
economics - 81/100
Those raw marks are just rough estimations, because aligning changes every year. Also, as the BOS only released raw marks last year, there is little real information to go off.
